    great local beer

The lovely surrounding countryside and great local beer made our stay remarkable. We enjoyed mulled wine and a cozy atmosphere.

The menu could definitely use more variety—more options for breakfast and a wider selection of mains for dinner would be nice. the upkeep of the room was lacking, as it seemed a bit dated and in need of repair, which detracted from the overall comfort of the stay. It'd be better if the outdoor dining area got some attention. it could really enhance the experience. Lastly, navigation to the place was a bit tricky, given the narrow roads leading to the venue, which might not be ideal for everyone.

    friendly atmosphere

Family with children can have fun here

The atmosphere was buzzing with great music and friendly locals. We enjoyed the live music on Sunday and the open mic night on Thursday which was a good laugh, made it worth the trip.

It wasn’t exactly cheap for what we got, but was still okay at the end of the day.

    welcoming atmosphere
    friendly staff
    tricky location
    limited breakfast
    staff shortages

In a quaint village, the welcoming atmosphere stands out, with the staff exuding warmth and dedication. Enjoying fresh, substantial sandwiches during lunch added a delightful touch to the experience. Access might be tricky for some, as it's situated in a less traveled area. While dining options were decent, the absence of a full breakfast service was noticeable, given staff shortages. Nonetheless, the charm of the area and the friendliness of both staff and locals greatly enhanced the overall visit.

    welcoming staff

great location but limited breakfast options

The location for coastal walking was exceptional, offering easy access to many secluded beaches. The hostess, Zoe, was very accommodating and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the convenience of being close to a restaurant serving delicious food that surpassed our expectations. During our time there, we took the advice of previous guests and explored local walking trails nearby, which provided stunning views.

Had an amazing stay! The food was absolutely delicious, especially after a long walk, and the cozy atmosphere made the pub visit so welcoming. the rooms could use a little refresh, but they were still comfortable enough for our one night stay. I'd definitely come back!
